There are two people in "Code Geass" that I personally care about.

It is two of the members of the Black Knights, Kyoshiro Todo and Nagisa Chiba.

In "R2," there were several scenes depicting Mr. Chiba's feelings for Mr. Todo, so viewers may have been getting antsy about their relationship.

In this issue, we examine how their relationship developed in the TV series, the theater trilogy, and Resurrection of Lelouch.

*Please note that this contains spoilers for the TV series, the theatrical trilogy, and Lelouch of the Resurrection.

Who are Mr. Todo and Mr. Chiba?

Mr. Todo and Mr. Chiba were one of the members of the Black Knights, and when they first appeared, they appeared as members of the "Japan Liberation Front," and when Mr. Todo was taken prisoner by Britannia, he asked for help from the Black Knights and subsequently fought as a member of the Black Knights.

Mr. Todo and Suzaku have a master-disciple relationship at the dojo. Suzaku studied martial arts at Mr. Todo's dojo.

It was Mr. Todo who was in command of the only battle that was won against Britannia. Because of this, he was called "Todo the Miracle Worker" and feared.

In a staff interview in a past anime magazine, Mr. Todo said that he was like Ken Takakura compared to a celebrity.

Suzaku says that he is the creator of his own spinning kick, "Yoso Ryu Seiichi Shiki Senpukyaku," which is hard to say, so he called it the "Kuru Kuru Kick" because it is Kururugi Suzaku," and further revealed in a picture drama that he has a funny side, "I have a fatherly side that makes me laugh every time I say that.

Mr. Todo will be played by Yuji Takada (representative works include "Detective Conan" as Katsusuke Yamato).

Chiba-san is one of the members of the Four Sacred Swords and has a maidenly side that is not only loyal to but also in love with Todo-san. She is also an excellent cook and in the work she prepares food on Horai Island, and in the drama CD, Karen praises her as "the most proud of her knife in the Black Knights and has led many men to misunderstand her.

In "R2," there is a zero loyalty rating to Zero, influenced by the failure of Black Rebellion. It is as if Mr. Todo has no choice but to follow the fact that Zero's power is necessary to restore Japan.

I'm not sure that the abandonment of the commander is the cause of the problem. ......

Ms. Chiba is Sako Chiba (best known for her work as Shugo Chara! as Nagihiko Fujisaki, etc.; in Code Geass, she doubles as Nina Einstein).

What's their relationship?

From Mr. Todo's point of view, I believe that they are friends who fought together on the Japan Liberation Front. However, Mr. Chiba's love for Ms. Chiba was detected by Mr. Asahina, who is also a member of the Four Sacred Swords, and C.C. was also aware of it in the picture drama.

In "R2," there was a description that smacks of a "R2.

E.g., Diethardt's correspondence had them in the same room (and there were two nightgowns on the floor).

He was teased several times by Asahina-san in the scene where he was staring at Mr. Todo.

There was a scene where he expressed his feelings on the bridge during the decisive battle with Emperor Lelouch.

It would be dramatic and wonderful if the bond between the Japanese Liberation Front and the Black Knights, who have fought together as the Black Knights, had deepened and developed into a romantic relationship.

They are tied together, although the details were not given in the work.

This is evident in "Lelouch of the Resurrection," where a video of Ougi and Villetta's wedding party is playing, and while Todo-san is congratulating them in his typical manner, saying "It's good for an adult man to put on his finery," Chiba-san is miffed.

Maybe he made that kind of face because he remembered a time when he was easily aware of his feelings and was getting impatient.

Also, in the ending, they were visiting Fan and Villetta's house, so from this trend, I am sure that their love was fulfilled after a long struggle.

summary

It seems that Fan and Villetta were not the only ones who were tied together in the production.

Chiba's thoughts were firmly conveyed to Todo-san, and seeing this, the other four sacred swords scattered in battle may have been relieved in the sky.

In particular, Asahina-san was concerned about whether or not she would confess her feelings to Chiba-san, and she adored Todo-san, so it seems likely that she would shed tears of joy and congratulate him on the success of his romance.

Please don't make fun of Mr. Tamaki for their relationship. Mr. Fan, Karen-chan! Please stop this guy!

In Code Geass, some characters have had tragic endings, but some have been united, which I feel is a relief at least.

Thank you for your patience to the end.
