Hello everyone.

Have you watched this edition of "Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Goryo (Michishirube)" yet?

This time, the film broke the largest record of all time, with box-office revenue surpassing 15 billion!

To commemorate the event, the original author, Gosho Aoyama, donated a newly drawn illustration of the Kid, creating a bright topic.

In this issue, I would like to talk about Sonoko Suzuki, the best friend of the heroine Ran Mouri, who assisted Conan and his friends in the movie version in the shadows.

Who is Sonoko Suzuki?

Sonoko Suzuki is a classmate of Shinichi and Ran and the daughter of the Suzuki Zaibatsu.

She has a commoner side that one would not expect from a daughter, takes care of her children, and supports her best friend Ran's love life, making her a main character of Conan with a gap-moe appeal.

When he encounters a case, Conan, like Kogoro's old man, puts him to sleep with a clock-shaped anesthetic gun and deduces the case.

Fortunately, Sonoko has not developed a tolerance to anesthesia, so for now, we have not had anything like Kogoro's old man, who went berserk when the anesthesia wore off, as in "The Bride of Halloween".

If there is, I am concerned, so I just hope that Conan will not be overwhelmed by the activities of the sleeping mystery queen.

Besides, he is still a minor, so please keep the sleeping Sonoko in moderation. Mr. Conan!

That story was also the story in the official spin-off "Mr. Criminal Criminal Sawawa," and there are a number of anesthetics in the "Conan Exhibition" that is being held and traveling to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the series, so seriously, please moderate your stories!

Sonoko is played by Matsui Naoko, who is very active as Ribbon in "Happiness Charge Pretty Cure," Monet in "One Piece" and Totoko in "Osomatsu-kun (the second film).

Matsui-san's X is also up to date with postings from Conan recordings and events that have taken place, so please check it out!

Matsui's contributions to the Conan events look like a lot of fun and I always look forward to seeing your posts.

one's social relations

Here are some of the characters who are in companionship with Sonoko.

More about his best friend Ran and his lover Kyogoku Makoto will be presented in more detail in another section.

Sera Shinjun

I am a female high school detective who transferred to Teitan High School.

First contact was when he grabbed Sera's hand, mistaking her for a pervert.

When I later rejoined the school as a transfer student, I was surprised to find that she was a girl, which I did not expect.

Sonoko was the first to call me "Sera-chan.

Since then, the name "Sera-chan" has taken root, and even fans call her "Sera-chan.

From there, the three became closer friends and are portrayed as a trio of good friends, going to a cafe together to discuss a school trip.

We were in the same group on a school trip and went around together.

Sera is my favorite Conan character, so I want her to be more involved with Ran and Sonoko, and I also want her to be involved with Kazuha and Momiji.

Or rather, I would like to see this character appear and play an active role in the recent series of anioli "Girls' Club Mystery" and "Ayumi's Picture Diary Case Files".

In a girl's club mystery, she would be a hundred percent sure to be there, but Ai will be wary of Sera, right? ......

Edogawa Conan

Everyone loves the main character!

They often work together, especially in the anioli story, and in the pre-story of the movie version, they are depicted as good friends, such as being together.

Conan is now referred to as "Gakincho," but that may be because of their close relationship.

Even in Lupacona, Dr. Conan was portrayed as relieved to see him as the savior of the world, playing a brilliant role with his inventions in Ran's crisis.

And since his cousin uncle Jirokichi also trusts Conan-kun, who is known as the Kid Killer, he trusts him, especially when it comes to Kid-related matters.

If Sonoko discovers that Conan = Shinichi, she may not tell Ran, but may guess at the situation and investigate and support the Black Organization in the shadows.

But please be careful not to get caught, Conan-kun. If they find out, you'll get a lecture from Ai.

juvenile detective team

They rely on us for anything.

In the animated and theatrical versions, the Suzuki Zaibatsu's connections are used to go to parties and affiliated places.

While taking care of her children, she behaves well as a daughter of the Suzuki Zaibatsu.

We have a service mindset, rewarding children for their good deeds and activities by giving them goods from our sponsors and inviting them to popular spots affiliated with our company.

They also take good care of the children, going with them to see hero shows and directing them to safe places if there is an incident that could turn out to be a dangerous one.

For the Detective Boys' Club, they think it is a useful connection when some great place is built or when there is a tough competition for tickets at a popular place, lol.

In Jun Kuro no Nightmare, I was trying to use Sonoko's connections to get on the Ferris wheel.

The Detective Boys, horrible kids!

How did he get to know his girlfriend, Makoto Kyogoku?

At first, she had a meek side, waiting to be picked up at various places to get a boyfriend, and she had a thing for good-looking guys, but now she is a terrific fighter with a record of 400 wins and no defeats, and is known as the Mad Nobleman.

When he stayed at an inn in Izu and was involved in an incident in which Sonoko was targeted, he saved her in the nick of time and beat the culprit to a pulp.

In the special anime "Episode One," I fell in love at first sight with Ran's friendliness and straightforwardness as she cheered for her friends to the best of her ability at the Tokyo tournament.

For various reasons, they became lovers before Shinichi, Ran, Heiji, and Kazuha.

When Sonoko wears revealing clothes, Kyogoku-san teases her by saying, "No, you can't! When Sonoko wears revealing clothes, Kyogoku-san is shy and has a naive side, which Sonoko teases her by calling her "cute.

If you feel that you would like to enjoy more of their relationship, please watch "Fist of the Dark Blue Blue"!

Especially the action and the conversation between the two in the last scene are exciting and exciting.

Fans of the Phantom Thief Kid

Speaking of Sonoko, I am a fan of Phantom Thief Kid.

Wherever Mr. Kidd makes an appearance, he sometimes uses his connections to the Suzuki Zaibatsu in a chummy way.

I feel that Kid is only looking at it as his own guess.

If I really liked him, I would give him the treasure! I would say something like that.

If you do that, you will be expelled from the Suzuki family, so please don't do that.

When we watch past episodes, there is no such pretense, and when he confronted Kyogoku-san, he asked for Kyogoku-san's safety, suggesting that he sees Kid only as one of his fans.

Be careful not to be too meek, or you will be jealous that Kyogoku-san might be able to beclick an iron spear with one hand with his "dark blue fist". ......

There was even a big showdown with the Phantom Thief Kid in the TV series.

Friendship episode with Orchid

Speaking of Sonoko, she is Ran's best friend position!

I have known her since nursery school, and I also met Shinichi here, so the three of us have a rotten relationship.

He teases Ran as she waits patiently for Shinichi's return, but also gently watches over her, and when she returns to her Shinichi form, he supports her in love by trying to get her and Ran together.

He not only supports Ran in love, but also worries about her from the bottom of his heart when she is in a pinch, and is a friend who thinks about her more than anyone else.

Here are some episodes in which I personally feel a deep sense of friendship with Lan.

Some of the content may contain spoilers, so please be careful if you have not watched the video yet.

The Assassin in My Eyes (The Movie)

In the fourth theatrical version, Conan and his friends attend the wedding party of Captain Shiratori's sister.

When Ran stops to use the restroom and the power goes out, Detective Sato, who was protecting Ran, is hit by a gun, and the shock causes Ran to suffer amnesia.

Seeing Ran like this, Sonoko shed tears and told her current situation, "Even if I don't get my memory back, I'm your friend for life," and at the climax of the show, she cried with happiness and hugged Ran, who got her memory back, and was overjoyed.

The scene of Sonoko worrying about Ran in the hospital room makes me cry no matter how many times I watch it, and it is a scene where Sonoko's feelings for Ran are strongly felt.

Ran, whose memory has returned, also said that he was her best friend.

He was more overjoyed than anyone else that Lan's memory had returned.

Zekkai no tantei (The Movie)

This is the 17th theatrical version, and I remember being so nervous about the developments and still not daring to repeat the scene with Ran's pinch and the termination of the search: ......

Here, Lan was dropped into the sea during a battle with X. When the sun went down and the search for Lan was called off, he cried big tears and pleaded with us to find Lan because he didn't care about the sunset.

This is a scene that is very dear to my heart for Orchid.

The Zero Executioner

*Sorry. Many people don't want to touch this topic right now, but rest assured that I will be writing about Sonoko's charms here.

When Kogoro's old man was taken into custody by the public security police, he stood by Ran's anxious side and expressed his anger at Shinichi's absence, as if to say that Shinichi is the one who should be by his side and that Ran needs him right now.

Also, when the indictment was dropped and he was released without incident, he was considerate of both parties, even taking a picture to report to Shinichi that he was safe.

Personally, my favorite scene in the movie is the interaction between Detective Takagi, who tries to be in the picture, and Sonoko, who brushes him off, lol.

Lupin III the Movie vs. Detective Conan

This animated film is a dream come true with Lupin III.

The first film was broadcast on the past Friday Road Show and the second film was released in theaters, and here we introduce the second film that was released in theaters.

Conan, Kogoro, Ran, and Sonoko come to a hotel where Emilio (CV Miyu Irino), a popular singer who has come to Japan.

There, Ran and Sonoko meet Emilio, who sneaks out and they go to Belltree Tower together.

Emilio, when he takes his eyes off the tower, falls out of the tower with Ran, who persuaded him to stay, and falls into the tower with the impact of the strong wind, but Sonoko tries desperately to pull them both back up.

One of my favorite scenes is when Sonoko expresses her anger at Emilio for acting selfishly, saying that once she pulls Emilio to safety, she will beat him to a pulp and complain about his involvement with her dear friend.

Even Sonoko, who always has a soft spot for good-looking guys, gets mad when her favorite best friend gets caught in a pinch and they are involved in it together.

This line from Sonoko and her efforts to rescue him as best she could even though she felt she was at her limits were harrowing, and I felt that the scene showed that she was more than just a lover of good-looking men.

summary

How was it?

In this issue, we focus on the attraction of Sonoko Suzuki, Ran's best friend.

In "Countdown to Heaven," in which she changed her look, and in "Fist of the Dark Blue," in which Sonoko and Kyogoku play the main roles, she showed her hair with bangs down, and many people were attracted to her different appearance.

Sonoko is different from the rich young ladies we often see in anime, but she is very relatable.

Elements such as not bragging about being rich, being friend-oriented, taking good care of children, and having a commoner's way of thinking are loved by fans and are very important to Matsui, who plays the role.

It is no wonder that Kyogoku-san also fell in love with Sonoko-chan, who is honest without lies and deceit!

Perhaps the idea was to dare them to attend public school and spend time as ordinary people, rather than an escalating preschool, elementary, junior high, and high school.

They are that father and mother, so it makes sense!

That is why I agree with him when he says that even if it is a limited edition product, it is meaningless unless you get it on your own, without using your connections!

She is a daughter, but she has a sense of common people, is friendly, takes good care of children, and has a sense of propriety.

I can only thank Mr. Gosho Aoyama for creating the character Sonoko Suzuki!

I would also like to say thank you to Ms. Matsui Nasuko for playing Sonoko!

I want you to make another movie with Sonoko as the main character. I would like to see a story not only about her love with Kyogoku-san, but also about her friendship with the JK trio (Ran and Sera)!

Thank you for your patience to the end!
