The "Fate" series has been developed not only as a game but also as an anime, manga, and other media.

In particular, the spin-off "Emiya-san's Today's Gohan" depicts a peaceful world line without the Holy Grail War, and is popular among fans for its gentle world in which Shiro and Saber cook and eat delicious food and interact with their supposedly hostile Servants through food.

The work is by ufotable, which is also responsible for the "Fate" series. The food looks so delicious that it makes you hungry.

In this issue, I will pick up on my personal recommendation for Emiya Gohan.

*Please note that this includes spoiler descriptions of the "Fate/stay night" anime series, so please be careful if you haven't watched it yet.

soba noodles eaten on New Year's Eve

Here is the memorable first episode of Emiya Gohan.

At the time, it was a surprise broadcast during the on-air "Fate" special on New Year's Eve, which caused a stir among viewers at the time.

The scene where Shiro, Saber, Fuji sister and Ilya spend New Year's Eve eating New Year's soba noodles over a kotatsu was a fitting episode for a New Year's Eve special.

And the last exchange between Shiro and Saber is a must-see!

Hamburg steak

This is one of my personal favorite episodes.

It is a story of Shiro's childhood, in which he is shown frantically making hamburgers, the favorite food of his own adoptive father, Kiritsugu Emiya.

In "Fate/stay night," Shiro's goal is to become a "friend of justice" like his adoptive father Kiritsugu.

It is heartwarming to see him making hamburgers for the first time for his adoptive father, to whom he owes so much, and trying his best to make him happy, and to see Fujinee watching over Shiro.

Chinese-style fried rice

The heartwarming exchange between the heroines of the other route, Rin Tohsaka and Sakura Matori, is heartwarming.

The two sisters, who are blood sisters but were taken in by different families, and their fate tossed around from there, was harrowing, and I couldn't take my eyes off them, especially in "Heven's Feel".

Here, the sisters are depicted making fried rice in good harmony, and their interaction is a highlight of the portrayal that makes that fate seem like a lie.

I felt that the fried rice made by Rin looked very delicious.

roast beef

The food prepared by Shiro looked delicious, but here, the dusty exchange between Ilya and Berserker was very soothing.

This is a Christmas story about Shiro and his friends who were invited to a Christmas party at Ilya's mansion, where she grew up as a young lady.

I have made roast beef before, but I remember that it did not turn out as well as Shiro's.

It is a wonderful episode to see the peaceful world line where people who were enemies during the Holy Grail War are now getting along well with each other and participating in a Christmas party.

My personal favorite scene was the one where the rider took over driving the car, replacing Leiselit, who was driving, on the way. It is a must-see for Ryder's class-appropriate behavior.

Gratin of bamboo shoots

I like the texture of bamboo shoots, but I find the preparation of bamboo shoots, such as removing the pungent taste, to be troublesome (laugh).

However, it is valuable to see the peaceful interaction between the Mamagiri siblings here!

In the original "Fate/stay night," Shinji Matori treats Sakura terribly, but here he is just a tsundere older brother, which is a rare sight to see!

Cherry blossoms, which are trying so hard to please my brother, make me want to cheer him up.

The rider's dusty face as he watches over Sakura, who is learning to cook from Shiro and expanding her repertoire of various dishes for this purpose, is also very nice.

*If you compare the peaceful "Emiya Gohan" with "Heaven's_Feel," which depicts the cherry blossom route, the temperature difference is not good, so you must be prepared when watching, so be careful.

summary

How was it?

The "Fate/stay night" series depicts a bleak Holy Grail War, but these heartwarming spin-offs are said to be exactly the world line everyone wanted to see.

There is another "Carnival Phantasm" that depicts chaos rather than peace, but it is just a story full of gags and Shiro says a ton of things that you wouldn't expect from the main character, so it is also a "Fate" work that I personally recommend.

So far, Gilgamesh has not appeared in this anime, and I hope that when the second season is produced, you will do a Gilgamesh story!

There are other delicious-looking meals and dusty stories that I would like to see visualized as well!

If you miss Emiya Gohan, read the original, buy the disc and watch it, or use a video streaming service to watch it and enjoy the peaceful Emiya Gohan.

The dishes that appeared in the production are also available on YouTube, so please try making them and experiencing Emiya Gohan!

The software is also available exclusively for the Nintendo Switch, so anyone interested in playing it is welcome to do so!

Thank you for your patience to the end!
