For those who love SLAM DUNK
This blog is about a boy living in the Reiwa era (basketball experience: 3 years in junior high school) who has read "SLAM DUNK" from volume 1, vents his curiosity and questions, and tries to research and resolve them!
Let's learn together about basketball, which is currently booming in Japan!
And this time
"Learn layups from a beginner (Sakuragi)"
"Shohoku's starting lineup compared to the real Japan national team"
Let's discuss the question, "I found it!!!?!"

Volume 3 (1Q-3Q)
1Q Layup Tips
Soften your knees
1. Soften your knees → 2. Jump high → 3. Leave it there!
In the story, Sakuragi and Haruko are shown tips like this while they are doing their morning practice.
I'm always conscious of ② and ③ when playing basketball, but I had forgotten about ① keeping my knees flexible!
So that's why part of the warm-up exercise is to place both hands on your knees and move them around in circles while squatting?
Sakuragi, who had mastered the layup technique during morning practice, made 4 out of 5 in the game that followed!
Although it depends on the conditions, a layup of over 80% is quite a high level.
Let's fly together!!!
2Q Shohoku's starting lineup compared to the real Japan national team
Yasuda and Shiozaki appointed as double guards
The first practice match takes place in volume 3. The opponent is Ryonan.
The reason the starting lineup was announced was that Yasuda and Shiozaki would be used as double guards.
In the real Japan national team, I have the impression that one of Kawamura, Togashi, or Kaito Tabus was always on the field.
However, I guess it can't be helped if they try to pair up the main characters excluding Sakuragi in this scene.
I also think there was a feeling that one person would not be able to carry it by themselves.
That's why it's really amazing that someone can be employed as a guard alone in real life.
3Q I found it!!!
The problem of boys being called by their surnames and girls by their first names
Do you remember this problem? We introduced it in the middle of the first quarter.
But this time I found it.
Fujii-san! It's you!!!
You were probably like, Wowwwwwww! That's true! That's true!
That's right, only Haruko's friend, "Fujii-san," is called by her last name!!
There seems to be a lot more to explore about these names and how they are addressed.
The boys' names are called by their last names, Sendou-san...
I will summarize it again(`・ω・´)ゞ
This is the end of the third volume! I hope you learned about basketball this time and also became more knowledgeable about slam dunks!
Thank you for reading through the third volume! We will continue with the fourth volume, so let's have fun learning together again!
This is the third volume!
